Twins' Kyle Gibson: Begins rehab assignment

Gibson (shoulder) threw 4.1 scoreless innings Sunday in a rehab start for High-A Fort Myers. He's expected to make two more rehab starts, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Analysis:

Gibson would return to the major league rotation on June 6 if all goes to plan. He threw 56 pitches in Sunday's start.
