Mets' Matt Harvey: Will start Tuesday

Harvey tossed a simulated game Saturday and is on track to start Tuesday against the Nationals.

Analysis:

Manager Terry Collins thought about starting Harvey on Monday, since he only tossed 61 pitches in his last outing, but he decided to allow Harvey normal rest before he makes this next start. Harvey's arm angle and velocity were reportedly better in the simulated game, but he will have to bring that into this start and several more outings before he is considered back to his normal self.
