Cubs' Jon Lester: Rough outing Saturday

Lester (4-3) allowed five runs on six hits and three walks while striking out one over 2.2 innings to take the loss Saturday against the Giants.

Analysis:

Lester got through 1.2 innings without any issues before allowing five runs over his next inning of work to lead to his worst start of the season. It was his first start this year in which he allowed more than three runs, and his ERA went from 1.88 to 2.60 as a result. He'll make his next start Friday against the Phillies.
