Brewers' Ryan Braun: Out of lineup for second straight day

Braun (back) is not in the lineup Thursday against the Cubs.

Analysis:

Braun will sit for the second straight day as he continues to battle stiffness in his back. Milwaukee is considering Braun day-to-day, and at this point a DL stint is not expected, though that could change if the stiffness doesn't resolve itself within a few days. Milwaukee will again go with Alex Presley in left field, and he'll hit second behind leadoff man Jonathan Villar.
