Brewers' Ryan Braun: X-ray on tap
Braun doesn't believe his right wrist injury is overly serious, though he will get a precautionary X-ray, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Analysis:
Braun was held out of Sunday's lineup after being a late scratch Saturday, so the team will take a cautious approach to ensure no major ailment is in play. Team physician William Raasch is expected to further examine the X-ray, so check back for an update on Braun's status at some point before Tuesday's series opener against the Cubs. The Milwaukee offense surely isn't to blame for their 15-22 start, but losing Braun and his 1.020 OPS for any period of time could prove costly.
