Run, Papi, run.

On Saturday, David Ortiz treated the Fenway faithful to the most memorable day of Boston's 2016 campaign with a record-setting display of clutchness against the Houston Astros.

Ortiz broke a three-way tie with a pair of legends on the home run list, he walked off the Red Sox with the 600th double of his career, and he dropped the mic with an epic postgame quote. He also sent the game into extra innings with a dramatic two-out triple in the ninth off Astros closer Luke Gregerson.

Ortiz's unlikely three-bagger - his first since June 15, 2013 and 19th of his career - traveled 373 feet and left his bat with an exit velocity of 104.7 mph, according to MLB StatCast. As for those wheels of his: the 6-foot-3, 230-pound designated hitter reached a top speed of 17.6 mph and it took him 13.05 seconds to get from the batter's box to third base.
