Dodgers' Scott Kazmir: Earns third when Saturday

Kazmir (3-3) allowed three runs, two of which were earned, on five hits and one walk while striking out seven over 8.2 innings to earn the win Saturday against the Cardinals.

Analysis:

Kazmir was one out away from a complete game, but he gave up a pinch two-run homer to Jeremy Hazelbaker and was promptly removed from the contest. This was only the second quality start he's posted over his last seven outings, and he currently owns a 4.89 ERA. He'll make his next start Thursday at the Angels.
