Tigers' Justin Upton: May sit out Thursday

Upton may be replaced in Thursday's lineup against the Orioles by Steven Moya, who was called up earlier in the day, reports MLive.com.

Analysis:

Upton has struck out a league-leading 53 times in 131 at-bats this season and his double Wednesday snapped an 0-for-19 skid that included a dozen whiffs. Maybe a break will give him some time to re-focus his game -- Upton is far too good to be this bad, unless there's some underlying issue or injury that none of us know.
