Yankees' Starlin Castro: Not in lineup Monday
Castro (oblique) is not in the lineup Monday against the Royals, Erik Boland of Newsday reports.
Analysis:
Castro departed Sunday's loss to Boston early due to tightness in his oblique, and while it didn't look to be overly serious -- Castro pleaded with manager Joe Girardi to stay in -- the Yankees will exercise caution and hold Castro out Monday. He'll be replaced at second base by Ronald Torreyes, who will bat ninth against the Royals' Chris Young.
