Pirates' Jung Ho Kang: Not in Sunday's lineup

Kang is not in the lineup Sunday against the Cardinals, Rob Biertempfel of the Pittsburgh Tribune reports.

Analysis:

Kang has started back-to-back games at third base, but will sit for the third game of the series, per manager Clint Hurdle's original rest plan. Look for Kang to return to the field when the Pirates open up a three-game series in Cincinnati on Monday.
