Pirates' David Freese: Not in lineup Friday

Freese is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Cardinals.

Analysis:

With Jung Ho Kang being activated from the disabled list, Freese will head to the bench for the time being. Kang is expected to rest once every three games, so Freese should get a decent amount of playing time still, although his value is certainly limited if Kang resumes as large of a role as he had last season.
