Pirates' Jung Ho Kang: Activated from DL Friday

Kang (knee) was activated from the disabled list Friday and is in the starting lineup at third base, Rob Biertempfel of the Pittsburgh Tribune reports.

Analysis:

After it was announced that Jason Rogers was headed to Triple-A, there was a lot of speculation that Kang might return to the Pirates, and that speculation proved to be correct. Kang may not be in the starting lineup full-time right away, especially considering his struggles at the plate during his rehab assignment, but the infielder does seem to be back to full health.
