Adams is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Phillies.

Analysis:

Adams has been splitting time at first base fairly evenly with Brandon Moss this season, but in a surprise move, Yadier Molina will man first base Wednesday. Adams will likely get back into the lineup fairly soon, as Molina won't likely garner too many more starts at first base in the near future.
