Apparently, speed limits don't apply at Camden Yards.

In his second-inning at-bat against Luis Severino on Tuesday, Baltimore Orioles slugger Mark Trumbo recorded the hardest-hit home run of 2016 with a majestic solo shot that sailed into the seats with an exit velocity of 112.9 mph, according to Statcast.

Trumbo's seventh round-tripper of the campaign - just his second since April 16 - traveled an estimated 428 feet and represents the fourth-hardest hit homer since the beginning of 2015, MLB.com's Andrew Simon reports.

One wasn't enough for Trumbo, though. In the bottom of the fifth, the 30-year-old took Severino deep for a second time, affording the Orioles a 4-1 lead with his second multi-homer game of 2016.
