Madison Bumgarner pitching at Citi Field was the worst thing that could've happened to the New York Mets during their winning-streak.

In 29 career innings pitched in Flushing, the left-hander now owns a 0.62 ERA and two earned runs following the San Francisco Giants' 6-1 win over the Mets on Saturday afternoon.

That mark stands as the lowest ERA of any pitcher with at least 25 innings pitched at Citi Field, according to the Giants. Bumgarner also extended his shutout streak at Citi Field to 18 consecutive innings and has the longest shutout streak by an opposing pitcher in the ballpark's eight-year history.

Player Team ER ERA  IP at Citi Field (Min. 25)
M. Bumgarner Giants 2 0.62 29
C. Kershaw Dodgers 3 1.01 26.2
D. Fister Astros 3 1.05 25.2

By Noah Syndergaard standards, this was a rough start. After giving up five runs in his first four starts of the season, the right-hander surrendered four against the Giants.

He lasted 5 2/3 innings, giving up five hits, including a Hunter Pence two-run homer in the fourth, while walking two and striking out six.
