Analysis:

McCarthy has yet to progress beyond throwing bullpens to this point as he works his way back from Tommy John surgery. Saturday will mark his second bullpen session of the week, but there's still no word on when he'll progress to throwing live batting practice. Mid-to-late June appears to be the likeliest return timeframe for the veteran right-hander.
