Crisp is out of the lineup Thursday against Detroit.
Analysis:
Crisp started each of the previous three games and six of the last seven, playing a mix of left field, center field and designated hitter. Though he only has 12 hits in 58 at-bats (.207 average), Crisp does have two home runs and four stolen bases, along with a strong 10:8 K:BB. Crisp's injury history will likely lead to extra time off, but he still figures to start at least four or five games most weeks.
