DeShields returned to the lineup after getting Sunday off in the midst of a 2-for-20 streak, though it remains to be seen if this lineup arrangement will stick after Texas failed to register a hit thru the first six innings Monday. Manager Jeff Bannister explained the move by stating he wanted a pair of left-handed hitters to face Eovaldi at the top of the order.
