Davis went 2-for-4 with his first homer of the season in Wednesday's win over Minnesota.

Analysis:

We can expect to see a lot more of the same from Davis, who's got 53- and 47-homer campaigns to his credit in his last two full seasons. Unless your fantasy league docks you for strikeouts, he's an incredible asset who should clear 40 homers again this year, health permitting, while racking up plenty of counting stats. Although Davis does have that tough 2014 season in which he hit .196 on his permanent record, he's hit at least .262 (last year's average) in three of the last four campaigns, so there's not as much risk here as that bad year would imply.
