Tampa Bay Rays (7-7) at Baltimore Orioles (6-7), 7:05 p.m. (ET)

(SportsNetwork.com) - Youngster Jake Odorizzi makes his first career start against the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday night when the Tampa Bay Rays face them in the second of three games at Camden Yards.

The Orioles opened the series with a win on Tuesday, when Matt Wieters and J.J. Hardy each had three hits with two runs scored and an RBI. Starting pitcher Wei-Yin Chen got the starting assignment and threw 6 1/3 innings, not allowing a hit until James Loney's one-out double in fifth, and only five overall.

Evan Longoria had a two-out RBI single for the Rays in the sixth.

Tampa Bay starter Chris Archer was roughed up for seven runs and 12 hits over five innings.

Baltimore tries to make it two straight with right-hander Miguel Gonzalez.

Gonzalez was dinged for a pair of solo home runs early in a Wednesday start at Yankee Stadium, but gave up just one more run in six innings of the Orioles' 5-4 defeat of New York.

He's 0-2 against the Rays with an unsightly 4.67 earned run average, walking 11 batters in 17 1/3 innings.

Tampa Bay's Odorizzi allowed a hit and struck out three in a 3 2/3-inning relief stint against the Orioles in September 2013 - his lone career appearance against them.

He threw six innings of scoreless ball against Texas in an April 4 victory, then was gashed for seven runs in five innings in a 7-3 loss to Kansas City on Wednesday.

Tampa Bay won 11 of its final 13 games against Baltimore in 2013.
