Valencia goalkeeper Yoel Rodriguez has signed a half-year-long loan with Rayo Vallecano that will see him play at the Campo de Futbol de Vallecas until June 30, 2016, the club announced Thursday.
Yoel has played second fiddle to Jaume Domenech throughout the season and has been sent on loan to get more meaningful playing minutes. The former Celta Vigo goalkeeper joined Valencia at the top of 2015 following a year-long loan with Los Che in 2014.
The 27-year-old goalkeeper has yet to feature for Valencia and only made two appearances last season with the club. He will compete for a starting spot alongside Tono Martinez at Rayo.
