VIDEO: Pepe makes terrible tackle on Cristiano Ronaldo during training session
Opposition forwards know this fact all too well: you don't mess with Real Madrid defender Pepe.
The 32-year-old Portuguese let his anger boil over during a friendly training session of keep-away in Australia, after Cristiano Ronaldo playfully shoved his Madrid teammate from behind a few times.
That action was apparently egregious enough to make Pepe go studs-in on a tackle moments later, leaving Ronaldo on the floor clutching the top of his right foot.
Pepe is no stranger to foul play, having picked up plenty of red cards and extended suspensions during his time at Madrid. But this dust-up with Ronaldo is a first.
No worries, though - Ronaldo was back up and running soon after, with one eye now firmly planted on his Portuguese teammate.
