Real Madrid deny making offer for Juventus' Pogba
Real Madrid ended speculation Thursday about their reported interest in Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba.
The Spanish club released a statement denying a report in Spanish publication La Stampa, which claimed that Real made an offer to Juventus for the French international's services.
Real Madrid have had no contact either with Juventus or the player's agent and, as a consequence, the reports published in this newspaper are completely false.
The report has since been updated to include Real's statement.
The 22-year-old has been at the centre of multiple reports linking him with a move to Madrid and their rivals Barcelona, among several other high-profile European teams.
While injuries plagued him in the closing months of the season, Pogba finally managed to return with a handful of matches remaining and is expected to be included in Massimiliano Allegri's squad when Juventus take on Barcelona in the Champions League final June 6.
