Dani Alves rejects Barcelona's latest offer, according to agent
News of Dani Alves turning down Barcelona's latest offer is the clearest indication that the Brazilian is on his way out when the season concludes.
Agent Dinorah Santa told AS on Thursday that his client rejected the club's most recent and final offer to retain the right-back, indicating Alves will seek new opportunities during the summer transfer window.
"We didn't reach any agreement with Barcelona to extend the contract that is up on June 30,"
"Dani is sad. The negotiations are over. Dani will see out his contract at Barcelona in the best possible manner."
Alves refused to accept the latest offer because of a stipulation which stated he must play 60 percent of all matches. Meanwhile, Alves was seeking a three-year contract with similar conditions as his current agreement.
Santana went on to indicate the interest from other European clubs who, appear to value the 31-year-old more than the Catalan club.
