Report: Karim Benzema could face disciplinary action for skydiving during holidays

Diving is frowned upon by most in the footballing community, but it turns out that skydiving isn't encouraged either.

Karim Benzema could face disciplinary action from Real Madrid after he went skydiving during his holidays in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, according to Spanish daily Marca.

While that may sound absurd, Real Madrid hold their players to a code of conduct that forbids them from taking in part in activities deemed to be too dangerous. And should Benzema be charged, it wouldn't mark the first time that Real Madrid punished a player for living on the edge.

Asier Illarramendi faced action last season for going bull-running dressed as Batman, Iker Casillas was once disciplined for travelling by scooter, and 15 years ago, Raul was punished for swinging a red cape in front of calves during an amateur bullfighting spectacle put together by Spain's then-coach Jose Antonio Camacho.

Fun is apparently not allowed at the Santiago Bernabeu.
