Ronaldinho thinks 'Ronaldo is a very complete player, but Messi is better because he has magic'
When it comes to the endless debate over the planet's greatest footballer, Ronaldinho is siding with his former Barcelona teammate over Cristiano Ronaldo.
In an interview with El Enganche, the two-time FIFA World Player of the Year spoke about a number of football-related items, including his time at the Camp Nou. One thing led to another, and - because it's impossible to avoid the topic - he eventually went on to declare that Messi is indeed a better footballer than his Real Madrid counterpart.
"We players asked Frank Rijkaard to bring Messi to the first team's training sessions," Ronaldinho said, as translated by Inside Spanish Football. "Ronaldo is a very complete player, but Messi is better because he has magic."
Ronaldinho spent four seasons playing alongside Messi, during which time they led Barcelona to a Champions League title (2005-06), a La Liga title (2004-05), and two Supercopa de Espana titles.
