Barcelona star Neymar could miss Wednesday's match vs. Malaga with ankle injury

In news that is becoming all too common in recent months, Barcelona could be without Brazilian star Neymar in their next match due to injury.

The attacker suffered an ankle injury in Sunday's 5-0 win over Levante and was substituted in the second half by manager Luis Enrique. He was unable to train with his teammates on Monday, though the injury is not thought to be serious.

"Neymar twisted his ankle and suffered a sprain and we substituted him as a precaution," Enrique said, per FOX Soccer. "He asked for the change and later wanted to try and continue playing, but we had already made the decision."

Neymar, who famously suffered a fractured vertebra in the World Cup, missed the opening league match of the season for Barcelona with another ankle injury, making this one slightly more concerning even if it is only a minor ailment.

In three La Liga matches this season, the 22-year-old has already found the net as many times, rekindling his magical partnership with fellow attacker Lionel Messi. When healthy and both in the lineup, Barcelona are a nightmare for any opposing defense.

Hopefully we get to see them on the pitch together more often than not. Oh, and there's still that Luis Suarez guy who is waiting to play his first match with the club.
