So far, so good for the breakout star of the 2014 World Cup in Madrid.

James Rodriguez recorded his first goal for the Galácticos in his home debut for Real Madrid. The marker came against Atlético Madrid in the first leg of the Spanish Super Cup.

Rodriguez replaced Cristiano Ronaldo at halftime and made an instant impact. He becomes the first Colombian to score a goal for Real Madrid, and he did it in his first game at the Bernabéu. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.
