Isco tips potential Real Madrid exit

Languishing in perpetual footballing limbo where minutes are hard to come by, Real Madrid attacking midfielder Isco has hinted at a summer exit.

When handed the opportunities this season, the 24-year-old has impressed, including his performance during Saturday's 2-0 victory over Espanyol where the 17-times-capped Spanish international set up both goals.

With five goals and five assists in the league this season, Isco is approaching his best statistical output with the capital club since making the Malaga switch in 2012. And though he admits he's content for the time being, the lack of playing time is a concern.

"I'm happy here and would stay many more years," the Valencia academy product told beIN Sports.

"I'm calm. What worries me is to have minutes," Isco added. "A player's career is small."

Isco has made just 11 starts this season for Zinedine Zidane's lot, and with a contract that expires in 2018, both he and the club may fancy profiting from a potential summer exit.

Leading La Liga with a two-point gap on Sevilla with two games in hand and poised for a likely last-eight spot in the Champions, Isco and his mates have plenty to play for this season, though the Spaniard will have more on his mind than pulling off the double with Real.

"From now until the end of the season, we will make a decision," Isco admitted.
