The loan agreement also includes an option for the Spanish side to buy Jovetic once the season concludes.
Jovetic's arrival comes after he failed to impress Inter manager Stefano Pioli, who did not name the 27-year-old in his starting team once this season.
A statement on Sevilla's website outlines the team's hopes that Jovetic can rediscover the form that triggered a €27-million sale to Manchester City while he was leading the attack at Fiorentina.
His move to City, however, failed to produce the same results, leading to his loan, and eventual sale, to Inter.
Joining Sevilla could also see Jovetic link up with former City teammate Samir Nasir, who is currently under investigation for receiving an intravenous drip at a clinic in Los Angeles.
