Real Madrid equals club record with 34-match unbeaten run
Real Madrid may not have earned the victory it needed to nab top spot in its Champions League group on Wednesday - a late Marco Reus goal scuppered that plan - but, if nothing else, Los Blancos are now on the verge of club history.
The 2-2 draw against Borussia Dortmund saw Zinedine Zidane's men settle for second place in Group F, but it extended Real's incredible unbeaten run to 34 matches in all competitions.

The Spanish juggernaut last tasted defeat in April, against Wolfsburg, and has since gone on to record 25 wins and nine draws in all competitions, scoring 94 goals along the way.
Real can establish a new club record this weekend against Deportivo - a 35th straight game without defeat would top the previous mark set by Leo Beenhakker's side during the 1988-89 season.
