A champion at Euro 2016, Andre Gomes will return to club football with a bang.

Barcelona announced Monday that Gomes will sign with the Blaugrana on Wednesday morning before an official presentation at the Miniestadi, where the Portuguese midfielder will be unveiled to the public.

Details of the transfer were also released. Barcelona and Valencia reached an agreement four days ago and, as part of the transaction, the Catalan club will pay €35 million to Los Che plus up to €20 million more depending on the performance of the player and the team.

Gomes' contract will include incentives worth up to €15 million should the 22-year-old win multiple Ballon d'Or awards, and his buyout clause is set at €100 million.

In other words, Barcelona could eventually pay up to €70 million for Gomes, who tallied three goals and three assists through 30 La Liga appearances during his last season at Valencia.

Gomes will arrive at Barcelona on Tuesday afternoon and undergo a physical at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.
