Neymar threw bottle in tunnel temper tantrum, Valencia's Mina says

Valencia attacker Santi Mina admits that tensions were high following Los Che's 2-1 defeat of Barcelona on Sunday, culminating in Neymar's apparent decision to throw a bottle toward the winning side in the tunnel after the match.

"I know that something flew. I saw it, but I dodged it and got inside to celebrate the win," Mina said Monday, a day after his goal moments before the interval handed Barca a shock loss at the Camp Nou.

Not accustomed to losing with the Catalan giants, Neymar was visibly disgruntled during the second half, taking out his frustrations on Valencia's Antonio Barragan after the final whistle.

"I don't know whether he knows how to lose," Mina continued.

"He is a great player. You only have to watch him on the field to know it. These are moments of great tension, there are scuffles in the game and I think we should leave it on the pitch. Antonio, for us, is a great defender and yesterday he was perfect and I am happy with his performance."

According to reports, Neymar allegedly told the Valencia right-back, "You should shut up. I make 10 times what you make."

Barcelona has yet to comment on Neymar's behaviour.

The defeat was the latest in a string of poor results for Luis Enrique's men, and with just one point in its last four league matches, Barca sits joint-top with Atletico Madrid, one point ahead of rival Real Madrid, with five matches to play.
