Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero capped a stellar month of January, in which he scored five Premier League goals and assisted another, with his third Barclays Player of the Month award.
Aguero, who previously won the prize in October 2013 and November 2014, is back in form after enduring a hamstring injury earlier in the season.
City is undefeated so far in 2016, with a top-of-the-table clash against Leicester City on Saturday.
The Argentine beat out the likes of Jermain Defoe, Roberto Firmino, Dele Alli, Kasper Schmeichel, and Virgil van Dijk to nab the award.
