Vito Mannone: Will start Saturday

Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce said Thursday that Mannone will start Saturday against Bournemouth, the Sunderland Echo reports.

Analysis:

Mannone briefly took over the starting job from Costel Pantilimon, but recently ceded the job to Jordan Pickford, who was recalled from his loan at Preston North End. However, with Pantilimon now with Watford, Mannone will re-take the top job, though he'll obviously be on a short leash.
