Napoli is reportedly holding out when it comes to Swansea City's pursuit of Manolo Gabbiadini.

The Campania club dismissed a £14.1-million (€19-million) bid from Swansea for Gabbiadini as it seeks a £16-million (€21.5 million) offer for the Italian forward, according to the Guardian's Fabrizio Romano and Marcus Christenson.

Gabbiadini, 24, is regarded as one of Italian football's brightest prospects, and scored four goals in the group stage of the Europa League to help Napoli book its place in the knockout phase of the competition. However, he hasn't featured for the club since early November because of an injury sustained on international duty.

Since Gabbiadini made his debut for Italy's national team in August 2012, he has tallied six international caps and scored once, casting doubt on whether or not Antonio Conte will include the player in his squad for Euro 2016.
