Liverpool's Sturridge, Henderson to miss Saturday's match vs. West Ham

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge and captain Jordan Henderson didn't join the rest of the squad on its trip to east London for Saturday's Premier League clash against West Ham.

Sturridge, who is said to be fit again, has missed the past five matches with a hamstring issue. But manager Jurgen Klopp doesn't want to risk the 26-year-old as he continues his separate training regimen.

Henderson, meanwhile, aggravated his problematic heel in Wednesday's 1-0 win over Sunderland. He left the pitch in the second half after receiving treatment in the first stanza.

The heel forced Henderson to miss three-and-a-half months of action earlier in this campaign, and led to a medical visit in the United States.
