Arsenal's Mesut Ozil misses Newcastle match with 'minor knee injury'

Arsenal was without its midfield maestro in Saturday's 1-0 win over Newcastle, as the club announced prior to the match that Mesut Ozil would play no part in the contest.

In place of the 26-year-old midfielder, who has been in sparkling form playing in his preferred central position early in the season, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was inserted into the starting lineup.
