Want-away forward Saido Berahino unfollows West Brom on Twitter
Well, this is one way to make your intentions known.
West Brom forward Saido Berahino has done the unthinkable and unfollowed his own team on Twitter, after the club declined his transfer request.
The 22-year-old has been linked with an £18-million move to Tottenham, but West Brom has reportedly declined not one, but two bids from Spurs for his services. With Tottenham reportedly feeling unsure about submitting a third, it seems Berahino has taken matters into his own hands - or, fingers, rather - unfollowing his club on Twitter to make clear his desire to leave.
Berahino, aka @SBerahino, currently follows 228 people - including a handful of team staff and teammates - but his club is now absent from that list, an ominous sign for the Baggies.
And, in case you were wondering, West Brom is indeed still following Berahino on Twitter. Oh, the drama!
