Max Verstappen: Easy win to kick off 2023

Verstappen won the Bahrain Grand Prix F1 race at Bahrain International Circuit on Sunday.

Analysis:

Verstappen started on pole and was never in danger of losing his lead. He ultimately out-paced Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez by nearly 12 seconds and beat the next closest team by nearly 39 seconds. There are 22 races remaining, but Verstappen appears to be a very strong candidate to win the Driver Championship for the third consecutive season.
