Thibaut Courtois was in a remorseful mood following Chelsea's 2-2 draw against Swansea City in the club's opening match of the new campaign.
The Belgian shot-stopper was shown a straight red card for wiping out Bafetimbi Gomis early in the second half, conceding a penalty that would allow the Swans to pull level and earn an impressive point in the contest.
After the final whistle, Courtois took to Twitter to express disappointment with his poor challenge, which forced his side to play with 10 men for nearly 40 minutes.
We're sure Jose Mourinho will forgive you, Thibaut.
