Gordon Brunt: A history of underachievement could result in a nice payday for those wagering on Arsenal. The team's crop of talented players may finally be the collection Arsene Wenger needs for Arsenal to win the league title for the first time since 2004. Arsenal at 4/1 (William Hill)
Carlo Campo: The favourite generally isn't where you want to look for value. But the question hovering over the Premier League this season is whether the top clubs have done enough to dethrone Chelsea - and they haven't. Chelsea at 13/8 (William Hill)
Michael J. Chandler: Every bookkeeper and your Aunt Helen have Chelsea pegged to repeat as Premier League champs. I am not your Aunt Helen. For one thing, my tuna casserole is insipid. For another, I'm picking Arsenal to win the league. Take a risk and put a few quid on ye Gunners. Arsenal at 4/1 (William Hill)

Brunt: There won't be a repeat of last year's great-escape performance for Leicester City. The Foxes look destined for another relegation battle after a summer that saw them change managers without any major player additions. The odds are favourable for anyone looking to make a bit of money at Leicester's expense. Leicester City at 3/1 (William Hill)
Campo: After five seasons of mid-table mediocrity, West Brom is poised for a return to the Championship. Many of last season's second-tier clubs have opened their chequebooks and improved significantly this summer. The Baggies are not one of them. West Brom at 5/1 (bet365)
Chandler: Of the three promoted clubs, Bournemouth has the least top-flight experience and all the makings of a yo-yo club. Gaffer Eddie Howe will have the lads playing an attacking brand of soccer, but their defensive core will not be able to sustain the pressures of Premier League soccer. Bournemouth at 6/5 (bet365)

Romelu Lukaku | 40/1 | 40/1 | 20/1 |
Loic Remy | 40/1 | 40/1 | 33/1 |
Troy Deeney | 50/1 | 66/1 | 80/1 |
Brunt: Romelu Lukaku, 22, will be desperate to improve on last year's mediocre season, and could very well finish atop the scoring list. He's shown an ability to grab goals in bunches in the past, making him a good bet to become one of youngest players to lead the league in scoring. Romelu Lukaku at 40/1 (bet365)
Campo: Everyone is itching to know whether an individual is capable of a Harry Kane-esque performance this season, coming out of nowhere to soar up the scoring charts. If it does happen, that individual could be Watford's Troy Deeney. He tallied 21 goals in the Championship last season and will be the club's target-man in 2015-16. Troy Deeney at 80/1 (William Hill)
Chandler: Most knowledgeable fans will tell you that either Sergio Aguero, Diego Costa, or Harry Kane will lead the league in scoring. They're probably right, but I'm going off-board and taking Arsenal's Olivier Giroud to score 25-plus, leading Arsenal to the league title while looking as handsome as ever. Olivier Giroud at 25/1 (bet365)

Tony Pulis | 14/1 | 16/1 | 14/1 |
Alex Neil | 16/1 | 16/1 | 14/1 |
Brunt: The leash is shorter than ever for Manuel Pellegrini, and he would have led the pack if a similar bet was made on who was most likely to be fired in the summer. The Chilean will be first to go if Manchester City stumbles out of the gate. Manuel Pellegrini at 10/1 (BetVictor)
Campo: The first sacking of a Premier League season is often the direct result of a club failing to live up to its standard through the first few weeks. Considering Liverpool has a grueling schedule to kick off its campaign, Brendan Rodgers - far from a popular figure at Anfield - could very well be the first casualty. Brendan Rodgers at 5/1 (William Hill)
Chandler: Taking the odds-on favourite here, as I have little faith in Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers' ability to tactically prepare a ragtag group of players. It doesn't help that Reds supporters seem to have lost faith in the diminutive Northern Irish gaffer. In Merseyside, the board often sides with the fans. Brendan Rodgers at 5/1 (William Hill)

Aaron Ramsey | 33/1 | 25/1 | 33/1 |
Daniel Sturridge | 33/1 | 25/1 | 25/1 |
Brunt: His team might not live up to expectations, but Harry Kane has a legitimate shot to become the first Englishman to capture the PFA Player of the Year award since 2009. Last year's runner-up will be a thorn in his opponents' sides once again. Harry Kane at 20/1 (Betfair)
Campo: Assuming Chelsea's form remains unchanged, there's a good chance the PFA Player of the Year will be a footballer from Jose Mourinho's side, and Cesc Fabregas seems like a wise bet. He was as impressive as Eden Hazard last season before suffering a late-campaign collapse, and that should be avoidable in his second year at Stamford Bridge. Cesc Fabregas at 14/1 (Betfair)
Chandler: With a full, bountiful Premier League campaign under his belt, Alexis Sanchez will nip Eden Hazard for the award voted on by his peers. Sanchez's do-everything mentality and tireless work ethic sets an example for his teammates and is admired by players and supporters alike. Alexis Sanchez at 10/1 (BetVictor)

Brunt: Everton has got to be considered a favourite for a bounce-back season following its abysmal 2014-15 campaign. The Merseyside club could offer a big payout to those who wager it can return to form and reclaim a spot in the top seven. Everton Over 54.5 at 10/11 (William Hill)
Campo: It would take a disaster of epic proportions for West Ham to end the season with fewer than 45.5 points. Consider that the club tallied 46 and 47 points in two of its last three seasons with squads that pale in comparison to the one assembled for 2015-16. West Ham Over 45.5 at 4/5 (William Hill)
Chandler: Taking the over on Aston Villa. Their summer signings have all been brilliant low-profile players certain to thrive under Tim Sherwood's attacking brand of football. Every year, there's a team that defies all expectations. This year that side is Villa. Aston Villa Over 39.5 at 1/1 (William Hill)
