Report: United won't offer Falcao new contract, will allow him to leave this summer

The Telegraph reports that Manchester United has decided striker Radamel Falcao - who scored a meager four goals in 26 Premier League appearances this season - will not be return to Old Trafford next year.

Despite negotiating an option to buy the Colombian forward for a pre-agreed £43.2 million at the end of his season-long loan from Monaco, United manager Louis van Gaal has decided against a permanent deal for the 29-year-old.
With yet another influx of talent expected at United this summer, it was inevitable that Falcao, who arrived in England shortly after recovering from a torn ACL and is quickly approaching the worrisome age of 30, would be one of the players jettisoned after such a poor campaign.
