Ronnie Bassett Jr.: Full Xfinity Season
Dillon Bassett confirmed to Jayski.com that his family will start a family-run operation for the duration of the 2021 NASCAR Xfinity Series schedule. Bassett Racing will roll out the No. 77 Chevrolet at Daytona International Speedway on Feb. 13, with elder brother Bassett Jr. as the driver.
Analysis:
The Bassett family is starting their own race team for 2021. The plan is for both Bassett brothers to compete, but the older brother Ronnie will be behind the wheel in the season-opener at Daytona. Additionally, the team didn't rule out using some other drivers to better fill out the full schedule. Over the past two seasons the two brothers have combined to make 25 starts in this division of NASCAR.
