No contact between Memphis Depay and Manchester United, says agent

Memphis Depay has not been in contact with Manchester United over a potential transfer. Yet.

That's the message from the Dutchman's agent, who denied a recent report that the PSV star has discussed a move to Old Trafford this summer. Depay, 21, has been rumored to be of interest to United since his compatriot Louis van Gaal assumed managerial duties at the beginning of the season, and the Daily Telegraph claimed on Monday that the blistering winger was the club's top transfer target heading into the summer window.

Not so fast, according to his agent Kees Ploegsma.

"No, there has been a lot of rumors, but he still has a contract with PSV, so for now he is in Eindhoven," he was quoted as telling Dutch publication PLBOLD. "We have not been in contact with any clubs.

"They (Depay and van Gaal) had good contact during the World Cup, but since then there has been no contact."
