Ross Chastain: Third at Richmond

Chastain finished third in the Virginia is for Racing Lovers 250 Xfinity Series race at Richmond Raceway Saturday afternoon.

Analysis:

The Kaulig Racing veteran was coming off a strong Top 5 effort at the Virginia short track on Friday night. Chastain would start 11th on the grid Saturday afternoon. He would lead 58 laps and win stage 2. The driver of the No. 10 Chevy was really the biggest competition for race-winner Justin Allgaier. Chastain would hold off Harrison Burton over the closing laps and secure the impressive third-place finish in this 250-lap battle. It was his 12th Top-5 finish of the season.
