Joey Logano: Third in Cook Out Southern 500

Logano finished third in the Cook Out Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway Sunday night.

Analysis:

The Penske Racing star started the NASCAR playoffs well. Logano finished the first stage seventh, and he was a Top-10 most of the night at the Track Too Tough to Tame. Stage 3 would see the No. 22 Ford push even higher into the running order. The final 41-lap green-flag run to the finish would see Logano race among the leaders and hold Erik Jones at bay to finish third. It was his seventh Top-5 finish of the season.
