Denny Hamlin: Runner-up Finish at Loudon

Hamlin finished second in the Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway Sunday afternoon.

Analysis:

The Joe Gibbs Racing star started on the outside pole, and he would stalk Brad Keselowski for much of the first stage. Hamlin would take the lead from Dave Blaney just prior to the end of the stage and claim the stage 1 win. From there, Hamlin would battle hard with Keselowski the rest of the race, but the No. 2 Ford would pull away late to a 1.6-second victory. The runner-up finish was Hamlin's 11th Top 5 of the season.
