Jimmie Johnson: Disappointing Kentucky Finish

Johnson finished 18th in the Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway Sunday afternoon.

Analysis:

Johnson's return to racing would be eventful Sunday at Kentucky. He would start 20th on the grid and race his way inside the Top 10 by the end of stage 2. A restart with 19 laps to go would see Johnson block Brad Keselowski creating contact between the two. The No. 48 Chevrolet would spin out of control and bring out the caution flag. Johnson lost a lot of track position late in the race and could only manage 18th-place by the checkered flag. With the finish, Johnson's Top-10 drought extended to five races.
