Kevin Harvick: Starting Last at Kansas Speedway

Harvick failed pre-qualifying inspection three times Saturday, and was not allowed to qualify for the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway.

Analysis:

This was not the way to start the weekend if you're Harvick and the No. 4 SHR team. NASCAR did not permit the team to turn a lap during qualifying, and as a result Harvick will start 40th Sunday in the Hollywood Casino 400. The No. 4 Ford will be fast, but the veteran driver will have to pass a lot of cars Sunday to challenge the Top 5 in this 400-mile battle.
